Roland Juno-106 VS Juno-106 Gravitational Slingshot Synthesizer Comparison

On the bottom tier is the wonderful Roland Juno-106 in all its original glory. No mods, no apologies. Going against the upper tier Juno, not only are the Gravitational Slingshot chips installed but also having the Analogue Renaissance waveform chips as well. I'm auditioning the same patches as loaded on both. Are you ready for a showdown? Which one comes out on top?

Roland Juno-106 Synthesizer - That Juno Sound (no talking)

Today I'm auditioning some of my original patches the Roland Juno-106. I just love the 106 for those plucky arps, sweepy portamento pads, classic chorus circuit, weird resonance chops, and not forgetting those basses. The range of sounds inside the simple architecture is littered with sweet spots. I've lovingly crafted a bank of patches to harness these attributes, now these patches are available at Gumroad. JU60-VCF Eurorack Filter Adaptation Roland Juno-6/60 Jupiter-8 Now Available

JU60-VCF is an analog 4-pole low pass filter adaptation of Roland Juno-6/60 using a vintage IR3109 chip with a BA662 OTA chip in the resonance feedback loop. This topology was also used on the Jupiter-8, with a switch for tapping the 2-pole mode. Resonance will self-oscillate and produces a nice sine wave alone. JU60-VCF won’t turn your system into a polyphonic synth, but it has a classic sound at a sweet price. Time to get out your favorite stereo chorus modules and pedals!

Introducing the JP4 Chorus - Dual BBD Ensemble for Eurorack

Introducing my JP4 Chorus: a eurorack adaptation of the Roland Jupiter-4 Ensemble effect.
Using dual bucket brigade delay lines.

In this video I will be auditioning basic waveforms from my 101-VCO thru the JP4 Chorus.
Then adding some reverb from FX aid.
Roland Juno-1 basic sawtooth patch thru the JP4 Chorus with the help of a homemade preamp.
Note: while the JP4 Chorus is designed primarily for eurorack signals, you will want an instrument/line preamp module for use w/ external gear like guitars and synthesizers.

Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus Pedal Demo w/ Synthesizers #9 [Roland Juno-1]

In this video I demonstrate the Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus with a Roland Alpha Juno-1 synthesizer. This is a vintage analog chorus from the 80s that uses Panasonic BBD Chips. It has only one chorus line like most pedals. However it is modulated by two LFOs w/ corresponding width (amount) knobs on each! How does it sound with a synthesizer? You be the judge.
