Source Audio Artifakt [FX w/ Synthesizers #18] No Talk Audio Demo
Artifakt by Source Audio. Lo-fi, low grade reverb, bit-reduction, tape hissy, AM Radio goodess. Today I'm running some synths and electro gear through the Artifakt pedal, see what modes I've been vibing with. Pedal was edited all manually - on computer. No presets were used - So you'll see a pic of pedal starting point settings w/ each audition. Dry audio preceeds FX auditions...well usually. Recorded direct to Tascam DR-05, no other effects or mastering beyond routine normalization.

G-Storm Electro Spring Tank Shootout Reverb Driver Version 2-1
Quick Comparison of 3 Spring Tank Reverbs using my Reverb Driver version 2-1. I saw that many users were wanting to experiment with a variety of tank sizes, myself included. Now in my driver module version 2-1 I have added a jumper setting which makes it fast and easy to change the driver optimization for short tanks, medium tanks, or long tanks. Audio has been recorded direct, no other mastering or posts effects. 0:00 Quick Intro 0:12 Ruby Tube 2EB2C1B Short size tank 0:55 Vintage Folded Line, Medium size tank like those in a Roland Space Echo 1:53 Accutronics 4AB3C1B Long size 16" tank Check my Reverb store for Spring Tank Reverb Driver availability.

Short Size Spring Tank Electro Jams - Reverb Driver Version 2 [Demo 02]
Today I made a couple of demo songs featuring my Spring Tank Reverb Driver version 2. The module has been optimized for Ruby Tube 2EB2C1B Short size tank by changing R8 to 3K value resistor. I'm quite taken with this tank, it's nice and drippy. I will be offering some module/short-tank optimized combos for sale in my reverb store - see link below.

1:56 90 BPM | Spring Tank on the 101-VCO/VCF
Take note in this second jam I am using CV control over the Spring Tank wet/dry mix using a Sample-and-hold with portamento.
Check my Reverb store for the combo Spring Tank Reverb Driver and the Ruby Tubes short tank.

G-Storm Electro Introduces Spring Tank Reverb Driver Version 2
Introducing my Spring Tank Reverb Driver version 2. Same great sound and features as before. But now in 4HP with added Feedback knob. The Drive setting is now a trimmer on the PCB Set-and-forget. In today's video I will be auditioning the module with a few different spring tanks and various patch scenarios. Like pairing the reverb with Synthrotek DLY. While my driver module is optimized for Medium length tanks, it can easily be modded to handle long and short size tanks well. Which one is your favorite? Special thanks to my friend Seth, for contributing Behringer System 2500 sounds and footage for this episode!
On the 2500 patches, the dry signal was mult-ed such that the wet/dry mix was handled by a mixer off camera. Audio has been recorded direct, no other mastering or posts effects.

Modbap Per4mer Performance FX [USER REVIEW + Demos] Eurorack
Today I am giving a user review of the Per4mer FX module by Modbap Modular.
The Per4mer is a DJ-Style Quad FX module designed with Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, and Glitch music in mind.
But it also dishes up well for Trap, experiemental, and ambient excursions for sure.
But is Per4mer worth the coin?
Is it the right module for you?
I will be giving some quick thoughts about the build, and dig into some beat and loop mangling.
At the end I give some concluding remarks weighing the pros and cons.
My videos are not sponsored by anyone.
I purchased this product with my own moolah.
So you can expect my own objective opinions and observations.

Alesis Ineko FX Pedal Demo w/ A Synthesizer #11 [unboxing?]
This is the fabled Alesis Ineko effects pedal. Hasn't been out of the box in a while, time to unleash the Kraken. It's like the culmination of all the algorithms that appeared in Alesis modfx effects pedal series. It doesn't look like much, but it is very tweakable and has a few surprises. Like a lo-fi playground for happy accidents. Today I want to share w/ you what it sounds like on synthesizers, drum machines and stuff like that.

Spring Tank Reverb Breadboard Eurorack Demo
Try not to let your heads explode when this sickness fondles your eardrums. Got my hands on an O.C. Electronics Spring Tank Reverb. On the breadboard I've built a driver circuit with voltage control of the wet/dry crossfader. Who does that???!!....
I do that. And today's demo shows you why. The Future Retro Transient+ is going through the spring tank. The mix is set mostly dry, but I'm using a short envelope to send a burst of reverb wet mix when the snare hits. Using the Beatstep Pro for that. That's what I'm talking about. That. Is what it's all about.
How did I do this? I've frankenstein'd a couple of circuits/ideas together to make this happen. At its core is a Tombolas DIY Spring Reverb Circuit w/ EQ and Drive Control to accommodate a wide variety of tanks. It worked very well, but I was not yet satisfied. For the Voltage Control, I've slapped away the final amp mix stage and replaced it w/ the VC Crossfader circuit by Thomas Henry. I dumped his VCA control, that's another project for another day, and to made some minor changes so it would play nice w/ the Tombolas circuit.

Roland Space Echo RE-201 Tape Effect Demo w/ Synthesizers #10
Today I present the Roland RE-201 Space Echo audio demo w/ synthesizers and a TR-8 drum machine. The RE-201 is a vintage delay effect from the 70s using a tape loop and Spring tank reverb. It's been used on lots of psychedelic rock, trip hop, alternative, dub, progressive house music and more. The Space Echo is the only effect used in this demo. This machine has a new 4 meter loop. It also has some wow and flutter, I love that lo-fi quality of this machine. All audio recorded direct to a Tascam DR-05 thru a Mackie mixer. Gear used here: Roland Juno-1/JV-2080/SH-01A/TR-8, Korg MS-20 mk1, E-mu ES-32 (Yamaha CP-70 sample), Arturia Beatstep Pro, M-Audio Axiom49.
