Boss RE-202 Space Echo [Pedals w/ Synthesizers #12] Demo + Observations

Today I'll demo some synthesizer sounds w/ the Boss RE-202 Space Echo.
And give some honest user opinions at the end.
Is this pedal worth it? Let's see.

Recorded direct, no other mastering or effects.
Just the RE-202 and various synth type devices one at a time.

This video was not sponsored by Boss.
The RE-202 was purchased out of pocket for my own fun.
All opinions are my honest impressions.

[Roland 909 Day Demo] Juno-1 / TR-8 / RE-20 / 101-VCF / JP6-VCF

Today a special setup for 909 Day!
Featuring some classic Roland circuits.
The highly underrated Alpha Juno-1 on pads and leads.
Getting a dose of cloudy reverb from Strymon Big Sky.
A TR-8 deploying the 909 kit in floor-thumping action.
Smashed to extra crunchy bits in the DBX 166A compressor/limiter.
My RE-20 Space Echo pedal on delay.
The 101-VCF has its input overdriven by Pittsburgh Synthesizer Box.
And the Rozendal CEM3340 VCO going into the JP6-VCF.
Having its resonant arse kicked around my Spring Tank Reverb.
Beatstep Pro on sequencing duty.

Some audio post-processing in Cubase 7.

Roland Space Echo RE-201 Tape Effect Demo w/ Synthesizers #10

Today I present the Roland RE-201 Space Echo audio demo w/ synthesizers and a TR-8 drum machine. The RE-201 is a vintage delay effect from the 70s using a tape loop and Spring tank reverb. It's been used on lots of psychedelic rock, trip hop, alternative, dub, progressive house music and more. The Space Echo is the only effect used in this demo. This machine has a new 4 meter loop. It also has some wow and flutter, I love that lo-fi quality of this machine. All audio recorded direct to a Tascam DR-05 thru a Mackie mixer. Gear used here: Roland Juno-1/JV-2080/SH-01A/TR-8, Korg MS-20 mk1, E-mu ES-32 (Yamaha CP-70 sample), Arturia Beatstep Pro, M-Audio Axiom49.

Roland RE-20 Space Echo Audio Demo w/ Synthesizers #6

This is my follow-up video demo of the Roland Boss Space Echo RE-20 pedal. Previously I talked at length about what the functions do. This time I give more audio examples w/ various synthesizers, lead sounds, bass, arpeggios, and a drum machine. Included here are Roland System-1, TR-606, and XP-30. As well as an ARP Solina String Ensemble, and a Korg 770. Audio recorded direct from mixer into a Tascam DR-05 recorder, no other effects processing other than the RE-20.
