101-VCO has returned to the fold: the same great sound, simplified and improved tuning, and having all the individual outputs without need for an expander module. All in 12HP. Headphones or good monitors recommended.

JU60-VCF Eurorack Filter Adaptation Roland Juno-6/60 Jupiter-8 Now Available
JU60-VCF is an analog 4-pole low pass filter adaptation of Roland Juno-6/60 using a vintage IR3109 chip with a BA662 OTA chip in the resonance feedback loop. This topology was also used on the Jupiter-8, with a switch for tapping the 2-pole mode. Resonance will self-oscillate and produces a nice sine wave alone. JU60-VCF won’t turn your system into a polyphonic synth, but it has a classic sound at a sweet price. Time to get out your favorite stereo chorus modules and pedals!

Oberheim Matrix-12 Pure Noise Chaos Patches Now Available
In my previous post I replaced the battery in my Oberheim Matrix-12 synthesizer, which completely randomized my patch data for very interesting results. Now you can dump this SYSEX file into your own synth for random patch mayhem. This will over-write your entire patch bank! So be sure to back up your own patches safely to computer first! I have a link to my download page on the sidebar to the right side of this page "Featured Post" :) If it's not there, enter 'download links' in the search bar above to get to my download page. I can't possibly manage dozens of links to the page.

Alesis Andromeda Unleashes Enormous Pad Soundscapes Demo #4
Did you know I have some interesting things listed on Reverb? Check it out now. The Alesis Andromeda synthesizer unleashes huge pad soundscapes. These pads range from OMG to WTF, and cut a swath right through the mix. So hide your daughters and cherished pets. I was going to do a Matrix-12 demo but that synth bricked this past weekend. Hence the sarcasm and sad face :( These are not your factory sounds. Audio recorded direct to Tascam DR-05 through a Mackie mixer.
